Well . . . there's always the players of Marines who muster out with
Cr500 and a "Gun-1," but want it to be an FGMP.  This would put a
damper on that.

And the radiation effect means that the effort of acquisition would
need to take this into account, in-game:

NPC Fixer: "Okay, Harry.  I know a guy who knows a guy who knows how
to get you enough parts that 'fell off the supply truck' that the
techie you've got can put together an FGMP for you."
Harry:  "All right!"
NPC Fixer: "So do you already have a source for the rad armor?"
Harry, puzzled: "What rad armor?"
