Not IMTU.  Just as a PC with such a rare shooting iron would do, any
NPC equipped with an FGMP would have the thing boobytrapped to explode
very messily if anyone other than the owner attempted to use it.

Speaking of nuclear-like explosions and PCs . . .

I've been reading "Consider Phelbas" by Ian M. Banks.  If anyone else
has read it . . . didn't the crew of the *Clear Air Turbulence* strike
you as a prototypical bunch of Traveller PCs?  Complete down to the
self-consciously "dark and moody" semi-skilled merc with the small
nuclear bomb implanted in his body, equipped with a dead-man trigger?
