Currently not playing Traveller due to a) time constraints and b) nobody
around (besides immature kids) to play with. My preference is a loose
adherence to MegaTraveller and earlier versions of Traveller.

The last campaign that I ran was totally non-cannon and the Traveller
materials were used mostly as a set of rules and a backbone to the game.
My universe as a result of a diaspora of sleeper ships leaving Terra to
help alleviate population issues on Terra. After the sleepers arrived in
habitable worlds, the resultant populations worked their way back to
high tech.  In the mean time Terra solved its problems and it's tech
continued to evolve.  Add the existence of other sentient races already
"out there" there was much grist for adventure in my universe.
