Tell it to Captain Bligh. Getting a boat instead of a cutlass in the gut is
vastly better. It means that you are still alive today which gives you a
pretty fair start on tomorrow. Even if you are rowing your way around the
Carribean. The sea routes are active and the pirating probably wasn't all
that far out to sea.
