[TML] Which combat system do you prefer?

That's where the saving throw comes in.  If this is successful, the
victime only dies if he doesn't get prompt medical treatment.  If it
is not successful, this means that the round hit just right (or,
rather, just wrong) and he dies right then.  In the case of a brain
hit, he doesn't get a saving throw at all.  He just dies.

Or - at least - that's how I see it.
