I'm pretty sure that's part of standard transport contracts.  GT: Far
Trader goes into some detail about what these do - and do not -
require a crew to do.  I can't remember the different terms off-hand,
but the most common type of freight contract only requires the crew to
deliver the cargo to the same sort of point where they picked it up.
Thus, if they pick it up at a starport, they are usually only required
to deliver it to the destination starport.  But if they pick it up
from the actual shipper, the contract *might* require them to deliver
it to the actual recipient.  This can entail all sorts of problems, of
course.  Morale: Always read the fine print. :-)
