Short form: There's something that's available in Two-Space - it's
called "the Elder King's Gift" in the books, and described as though
it's a two-dimensional life-form - which if introduced in any manner
into a computer in Three-Space will cause a TNE-type crash. That's
actually in the books, so I'm not giving anything away by telling you
here.
More information WILL ultimately be available in the Two-Space Traveller
working group.
