Well, it's not like the air-conditioner went flying. It ended up
dangling on the outer wall from it's power cord. And maybe the
"knocks down people" was a misinterpretation of my part. Now that I
think about it, we only see people getting up, not being knocked down.
So they may have heard the blast and dived for cover, then got back
up when nothing else happened. I'll admit the "sets off car alarms"
is a bit of a stretch, though. But then, given the neighborhood, they
might well have been set to "ultra-sensitive!"
