You're right. There isn't. So I wasn't being technically accurate.
I was just viewing things from Ky Vatta's perspective, I guess. I
just remember her idling wondering - after finding out in the 5th book
about their space force squadrons being named for tree species - how
all the tree stuff could have possibly gotten started.
