Et Tu, Corina?

By Theodore Wolffe

Regina citizens, take heed to what I am about to tell you. I am here to tell you a story, a story of an honorable woman.

The evil that nobility perpetrates upon the innocent, lives after them. The good is often buried with them. So it will be with Corina Ling-Armstong.

The noble Corina has told us that she is honorable. If it were so would she have ordered the deaths of her own corporate board members? Will the death of those poor souls go unanswered? Here on Regina, Corina is supreme in her power. She is an honorable woman.

Under the auspices of those who raised her to power. She wields that power like a bludgeon. Crushing those that stand in her way. Trodding over those that would oppose her. Yet she is an honorable woman. So are they all honorable.

We have borne witness to Corina weighing the value of a life. Comparing it to mere credits. What value does she affix to your life? How balanced is her ledger? What value does she place on her own life compared to that of the common citizen? And surely she is an honorable woman.

Often Corina refers to her charitable organization. To prove her sincerity. To prove that she is genuinely concerned for the common masses. Under the guise of charity does she draw us in to do her bidding. She promised us all that the air would be free for a year on the upport. Then has the air system altered. Then confines us to live in the air she has so thoughtfully provided. But Corina is an honorable woman! She will tell you so.

We all witnessed Corina grieve for the death of Fredrick William and Sauron Aguillon. Such a public grief it was. Such pity we were driven to feel for the tears of a woman who drove her own uncle to attempt suicide. And he in his despair, only partially succeeded. Where is the grief for your uncle, Corina? Or do you only grieve for those that succeed? But she is honorable.

I tell you this not to prove that Corina Ling-Armstong is dishonorable. I am here to tell you of what I do know. Corina has Regina’s love. And some measure of that love is justified. For the rest of us our betrayal is at the hands of an honorable woman.
